Sarah Macias
PT, COMT, RYT-200
I began my career as a Physical Therapist in 2004, inspired by a passion for dance and a desire to help people move better and feel stronger. Over the next 16 years, I specialized in orthopedics and earned my Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) designation in 2018, further honing my skills in hands-on, evidence-based care.
In 2020, I expanded my clinical practice to include pelvic health, aligning with my commitment to comprehensive, whole-person care. I later earned my certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) in 2022 to better serve women throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
That same year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, a life-changing moment that led me on a journey which deepened my understanding of true healing. Through my own challenges during treatment and the resulting chronic symptoms, I discovered the power of holistic care, addressing not just the body but the mind and spirit as well. This experience motivated me to dive deeper into the practice of yoga and led me to Bloom Yoga Studio where I completed my 200-hour Teacher Training in 2024.
These experiences fueled my vision for Triangle Wellness, a place where physical therapy, yoga, and education empower individuals to take charge of their health and cultivate lasting wellness across the physical, mental, and social dimensions of life.
“Sarah's yoga classes and instruction are fantastic! As a physical therapist, she really knows how to help guide you through creating a mind-body connection to deliver the most impact for your practice and targeted areas. I love how I feel energized and refreshed after her classes!”
